So anyone can actually say anything truely negative about the way our team played today?

For me, almost none, except Masch's sending off which means we will be without him for the Fulham game. Hopefully Stevie will be back then.

Positives? Plenty!
1. Lucas is growing as a player
2. Torres is THE WORLD's BEST STRIKER
3. David Ngog actually scores!
4. Carra didn't give away much (except a yellow card)
5. Great team spirit!

Plenty more!

And Slur Alex had to stand there on SSN and say that we were better than them and deserved it (after he moaned about the ref again)!

the only negative is that they haven't played like this for the rest of the season - why does it take a game against the scum to get this kind of performance??

Think it's easier to play games against United as you dont need any motivation, there was hardly any pressure on us today because nobody expected us to win, so the players relaxed more. The games we struggle in are games we are expected to win, this team cant handle pressure so the game next week against Fulham will be alot harder to win than today.

Yeah,I know.Last season,we beat the s**t,then drew with stoke.Let's see what happens away at fulham next wknd.At least now we should have more confidence flowing through the team.Next stop, the arsenal.

aye i agree with that rafa - that was when it changed for fergiescum - the board came out and said that the players would go not the manager and look at what has happened there

having said that i am still not 100% convinced rafa is the right man to take us on to the next level - this one result does not make up for all the defeats

I haven't seen any confirmation yet, so correct me if i'm wrong. Isn't Mascheran's one match ban in the Carling Cup against Arsenal?

Well, we will have Stevie back, and who knows, perhaps even a guest appearance by Aquiliani?

So let's hope Liverpool build on this and go on a 10-game winning streak in the league (dare I hope)??
