People have generally accepted that, that is the way it is. Outsiders have also heard the words, therefore nothing has really got out today.
Speculation at the moment is all about QPR, Everton and West Ham. Nothing has even been mooted or speculated in the press today.
So in a way, I'd agree that the club aren't in control over keeping things quiet. But when the manager comes out and is so blunt, what can the media do?
