Right if we win 1 or 2 cup but finsh 6th say will the owners consider that a success? like I think the vast majority of fans will, I get the feeling the owners were pushed into appointing kenny by fan pressure I honestly think they would want to appoint their own man but the wanted to keep the fans onside

I think you are right about the owners.

But I would question that the vast majority of fans would be happy with 6th cup or no cup. If Liverpool are just a cup side then its time to pack in.

Well I think fans would not call for his head if that was the outcome, another thing would KK step aside if the club could get Jose???, Like it or not he is a winner and we would be box office again!!, I'm going to get slaughtered for this but I want Jose in he is the only man I would make a change for nobody else and the thought of him going to the mancs kills me becuase i've always held on to the hope utd dominance would end when fergie retired but jose is the only man that would be big enough to take that job and keep them on top, JUST MY OPINION

Stanley all I can see is watch what happens to fans points of view regarding any poor future results now were at Wembley and are doing well in the F.A.Cup, I am willing to bet fans have already made there mind up 5th, 6th, or even 7th is not a disaster anymore, as the topic Thanking Kenny backs up less than a week after the Bolton game which was a worst performance than anything under Roy Hodgson.

I think the owners would consider anything less than 4th less than satsifactory.

The owners are not super rich therefore know their long term plan of restoring Liverpool to where we belong depends on Champs League revenue.

Don't think the suarez affair would have went down well with them either and another thing which I don't think was mentioned I think Ayre was disappointed with the way it was handled, saying that appointing jose will have its have its own pipebombs

As good as Mourinho is I dont think he would be the right manager for us, I would'nt be disapointed if he came but just feel we need to go down a different path this time with a younger forward thinking manager with fresh ideas and a burning desire to do well and make a name for himself thats why I think Paul Lambert or Brendan Rogers would fit the bill, I see my other favourite Jurgen Klopp has just signed an extension at Dortmund until 2016 so that rules him out.

I can see why many wouldn't want him but I just think he can make us box office news again and top class players will want to play for him IMO
