i agree that defoe would be a good signing for £10 million, n no he doesnt match the FSG profile for a player. But facts that fenway n comolli will look at are that he does score goals. does anyone really think we'll buy this guy from rangers?

A class striker in Scotland would be on 25 goals or more by now like Rhodes is on in League 1. Given the standard of Scottish football it could be argued that what Rhodes comes up against each week is on a par with what Jelavic faces.

So many players being linked to us but as of yet nothing concrete and just a week to go. Anyone think like I do that we wont be signing anyone which in turn makes 4th place well out of reach.

I'm sure we are doing our business the Liverpool way and once we have concluded business it'll become public.

It's in the papers that Henry may want to if floss Suarez to Inter or Madrid. I hope that isn't true and we end up with some crap player in return like we did in the Owen deal.

Defoe is worth at the very least £10m, but spurs would be mad to get rid of him - if anything were to happen to Harry's preferred striker(s), Defoe showed what he can do on Sunday - why wouldn't Spurs want to keep him??. Regardless of the fact that Spurs are doing well, he has always scored plenty of goals - championship, premiership, international.....
His age is irrelevant, but I see this rumour as a non-starter - it's too good to be true. Mind you, he IS british and WILL be expensive so maybe kenny is planning a last minute raid.....
