The title's gone. I felt this a long time ago but kept quiet, maybe hopeful.
I'll support the manager and the team etc until the end but I can't see United throwing away points. They are better than us whether you like it or not. It's just an opinion, I hope that I am wrong.
The European Cup would compensate for me if we lose out on the league.
I'm not going to take shots at Rafa and I won't judge him until there is stability at Anfield. However when he subbed Gerrard last night I was lost for words.
The pressure HAS got to him and I feel for him. I support him 100% and hope that he will be in charge come the start of season 2009-10 and that all the suits at Anfield have sorted out their ****.
There is nobody in the game better than him that could come to Anfield and work under the current restraints. If you believe there is, name them and make sure they're available for the job.
I support Rafa through thick and thin.

Not being negitive. I can't see us winning the premier league under Benitez. Champions league yes. but not the premier league.
We play a Euro style of game in the premier league.Which does'nt work over a long season.
We need to be more effective going forward.Rather then having 70% of possession and only scoring 1 goal. We need 3 goals.
The season started like he wanted to attack. He was taking defenders off. Throwing more players foward. Doing whatever it took to get points. Now it seems like his happy to play out the games and get a draw.
Great manager. Wrong person for the job. Ideal for one of the big clubs in spain or Italy.

:)) Well said Dunk.
I said to my family and friends, i belive Rafa and liverpool can win the title, but until they prove to me that they are ready, i wont belive it.
We are too timid, we lack the "go for the jugular" approach.
And we WILL draw on sunday again!

liverpool played a 'european' style of footie under paisley yet we managed to win a trophy or two so your point is completely useless
rafa needs time with his hands untied and the freedom to make decisions for himself in every area of the club
as for winning the league i dont understand why everyone seems so surprised - our squad is nowhere near as good quality wise as man ure or the chavs but ours is improving every year under rafa and every year we get closer but there is still a long way to go
it took fergiescum a lot longer than rafa has been given to turn the scum into a title winning side yet so many of you are saying we should get rid *rolls eyes* when the club under rafa stops improving then it is time to sit down and say he has taken the club as far as he can but that has not happened - we are still in with a shout of winning the title so stop whining and back the team and the manager and lets see how the rest of the season pans out!

Whatever style we played under paisely, the problem is very clear, We draw too many games aginst weaker opposition.
That means we need to win.
We aint winning cos we aint scoring.
We AINT scoring becaUSe the opposition defend well or we dont take our chances.
We dont have the ability to unlock these defensive teams.
Steve Bruce knows exactly what to do aginst Rafa in leage games.
Even if you played a style of football from the moon, you got to take your chances and score.
The sea, will be the sea, whatever the drops philosophy!

Well I think that we have a suprise in store. If we can take away three points from the Chelsea game and three points from the manc chester game then we will be in a much better position.

Rafa has only got himself to blame if we dont win the league, yes i agree with him over the owners and parry etc but we should be well clear of the pack by now but for rafa's negative attitude and crazy subs, he seemed to have changed at the start of the season and was goin for games but now the pressure is on he is goin back to his negative ways You just dont take gerrard off when we need a goal no matter how bad or how tired he is and you just have to look back to the fa cup final against west ham to know that,
also i think rafa has put more pressure on himself by responding to ferguson before we played, the timing was all wrong and also bringing his contract stuff out to the media, thats not the liverppol way
but for all my frustration about him we can still turn it around if he starts gambling more in games and be more positive i think we can still be in with a shout !!!

Rafa remains the right man for the job.
At the start of the season I dont think many of us really expected us to win the league given the strength in depth of our squad compared that of both Manure and Chelski.
Torres has been injured and struggling to get fully fit so far this season, which if we would have known that in August would have reduced the number of us thinking we could win the Premiership even more.
The reality is we've named roughly our best available team- ok there are always disagreements but the spine of the team has been consistent- and are now paying a price for not having rotated more earlier in the season as some of our players look a bit tired.
That said we've had the best start to the season for years and we will turn this around soon.
We've only lost one league game and we are still in the mix and win tomorrow and suddenly everything will look brighter.
Have the fans lost their memory? Have a lot of Liverpool fans suddenly appeared from nowhere since we were recently top of the league? We've started reacting like a tabloid paper, a minor setback is turned into a crisis.
The season we win the league again, and we will, we will dip and go through bad periods, its up to the fans to get behind the team to help them through it. The strange thing this season is the fans have been more jumpy than the team. Or have we forgotten the words to 'You'll never walk alone'?

The Chelsea game is perfectly set up for the punters (at least the Asian punters for a draw or Chelsea win).
This is where Liverpool will win it.
on another note, Chelsea, Man U and Liverpool have all had their seasonal blips. More points will be dropped in the final push. i just hope we are close when we visit Old Toilet
