maybe I should have said at Anfield to narrow the scope. But yes his touch has always been poor since he joined us. I accept all the arguments about the way we play him and the like but fundamentaly the control of the ball is as basic as it gets.
He has poor control, touch and total lack of awareness of teammates. Whether he ever had these attributes is not for me to say, all i can remember from Newcastle was his aggresive aproach particulary in the air. Confidence undoubtedly is missing but does he have the raw ability in the first place? We do not nor want to play like Newcastle.
