I'm a big fan of Rafa, always have been. The current state of play both on and off the pitch is a shambles and sometimes that does mean a change of regime is needed - no matter what the history with the current manager.

The thing that worries me more is the thought of the people who will be in charge of hiring someone new...they have already shown how [oops] poor they are at running a football club.

Victory on Sunday can be the only short term tonic...

That's possibly the only hope. I do wonder how much real swing he will have in that scenario.

I wonder if it would be better to stick with Benitez if we had to solely rely on the two lovely american gents who run the club to choose a successor?

kenny involved in making that decision? im not sure.

We cant change a manager now, we cant change players now, we got work with what we have!

So what you say regarding short term tonic holds with me, i cant see any further than 3 points, cos we cant change anything now at this point in the season

We really can't afford to make any changes - financially especially. Even if the current crew are not up to the task we still have to throw our support behind them, until such a time comes that change would be less damaging than sticking with what we have. Currently I think change could cause more woes than solutions.

the only problem is that i can't see us attracting any big names if we fire rafa, and that's only because of the yanks. we can forget hiddink and everyone of those kind of managers as long as the yanks are here...

the yanks would love Rafa out, but then they will install someone that is submissive to them and dances to the yanks tune!

No good manager with ambitions on winning trophys would come to LFC under the current ownership. The squad needs money spending on it and it isn't there.

Selling up has to happen and fast!

if we do change coaches, we get guys like allardyce, coyle maybe. We woundt attract any big names cos those guys are aware of the budgets they be dealing with.
