i can see liverpool asking chelsea to take Torres on loan till the end of the season with an option to buy clause.win win that way.if he regains his form we buy him if not we wont.
From what I hear, a certain lump sum of money has been made available to Kenny from when he took over for a marquee signing, a player that can make things happen and that we can get.However that player wasn't identified in the previous windows and the money is still available. Whether or not Kenny and Commolli have identified anyone yet I do not know but there ya go. Money is available for transfers and sooner or later we will have a big name "marquee signing" joining us.

i agree on hazard and cavani (and torres), but i do think there's a chance of getting soldado. that's if we're interested in signing him though and who knows what kenny and comolli are planning to do..

Not quite what i think we are looking for long term. What would his fee be around 12-15mil? Id rather have the 15 mil for this mystery "marquee signing". Class player in Spain but i just dont see it in the EPL. Doesn't have the acceleration, or the creativity we desperately need. Don't see much fire in him either. Podolski however.
