... so please do not accuse me of being a racist or bigot due to my opinions on OOT or foreign supporters attending Liverpool games at the expense of local fans, mine is a genuine grievance and a valid talking point,. what grievance would that be exactly? I don’t agree with a lot of what ford focus posts but I respect his opinion and more importantly I respect his RIGHT to have an opinion. There’s a lot of self righteous nonsense posted on this thread. As long as he obeys the rules as per Dunks guidelines there should be no problem about any opinion on LFC. You don’t like someone’s opinion you have choice put your point of view or ignore it. Ignoring it can often be the most powerful repost. I have not seen ford focus abuse people but he regularly gets tons of it piled on him and reading dunks guidelines it clearly states no abuse of other posters. Like I say I don’t agree with many of his views (but some I do) but surely we are all big boys and capable of respecting that not everyone agrees with what you say. The other thing I find the title of the thread quite offensive I am assuming I am also a miserable old git my crime is what? And the original poster has if I remember rightly spent at least 6 weeks mucking up threads having an online spat with a Liverpool lad about 4th place vs. carling with insults from both sides. So come on live and let live!

I think LFC are only too happy to shut you out in favour of people who are willing to pay any amount to watch their team because they view their ticket as a privilege rather than a right.

no one was talking about you faz so why are you offended? because my father was watching liverpool in the second division , and he took me and my brother which has now been 39 years in my brothers case and since 1977/78 season in my case and i believe in my case all the years of loyal support thick and thin the days after heysel etc being treated like 5hite in the country and europe , to have that said about people like me it is offensive by other supporters is just as bad and in my opinion well worse than anything said about out of town supporters .

Look, I accept that you're put out because it's expensive to support your club, but you need to understand that the club needs money more than sentiment. We're not in the second division anymore - if season tickets were still 300 pounds the club would not be able to afford its present, recently heavily reduced wage bill. Taking that sense of injustice out on OOT supporters is pretty lame, quite frankly.
