just waiting to see if the f.a. act on the tackle on spearing that the ref missed . lets face it it was a dam site worse than the one jay was banned for or will it just prove what most of us suspect double standards

The major problem with referees is the inconsistency... The tackle Spearing made and then got hurt was an exact copy of what he got sent off for in the Fulham game, why then against Newcastle is the same tackle not even a free kick?

the ref was looking the other way. he cant give a player a card if he doesnt see it

ok i understand that if the ref sees it and acts that is a decision made . but if (as last night) he does not see it the f.a. can act (or am i wrong )

Fa can only act if ref makes not decision on it so yes they SHOULD act. I personally hope they don't so barcodes have all their players vs other big teams , any suspension won't be of any benefit to us

So what sbout the original tackle by Spearing? Nothing wrong with it in my eyes but it was the same as against Fulham? How is one a red card and the other not even a free kick?
The referees in this country are an absolute fcukin joke! No consistency, constantly getting big decisions wrong. Look at Milijas for Wolves at Arsenal? It wasnt even a free kick and the FA won't rescind the red card, Connor Sammon at Man Utd, not even a free kick but the lad gets a red card? Osman kicks the ground at Sunderland and gets a penalty? Shocking but its every single week!
