I agree. Stevie is exactly what Andy and the rest of the team needs, not just in terms of quality, but leadership and discipline. Every player looks different with him on the pitch, especially carroll. We have a talented squad, but we've needed someone to pull it all into a consistent whole. We've needed a leader. Suarez, for all his talent, has not been and is not that leader. Carra can't do it from the bench. Reina can't lead the whole team from between the sticks. Stevie is that leader, and I think he has been the missing ingredient that could release this team's potential.

Agree with you both.... what does Andy Carroll need to score??? Steven Gerrard! Suarez will score a hatfull too with Stevie playing

a couple of weeks ago some on here(faz, and clown paints) were saying gerrard was finished. still reckon hes finished guys???

I personaly think he's finished myself like, I still think he can do a decent job for us but I think the days of seeing the rampaging, full throttle days are well gone because his body cant stand it now. I think last nights game summed it up perfectly Gerrard came off the bench and when you put him next to Downing, Henderson, Carroll, Spearing and Adam he looks quite good which says it all about how rubbish our team is and how wasteful the manager was in his 12 month reign.

Well you have probably done it all your life so why change a habit of a lifetime, what was it that made you decide to support the club in the first place, colour of the kit, the success we had in the past or maybe just because we were on the telly that night when you switched channels am sure your reasoning will be of similar thought.
