higuain is not going to sign for LFC cuzz of that 4 nil hammering real got years ago from the reds.
thats like saying ie KD shud sign pele cuzz he was one of the best strikers in the world in the late 60/70's.
the only way higuain will come to LFC, is if KD cud get him on loan, next month and if we get a CL place for next season, then sign him. If you read my message in full that's exactly what I said, I state if we get champ league and real sign a striker then we can sign him once both those things happen cause he'll have to have vivid memories of Anfield on that night and how amazing Anfield can be.

Btw with regards to Ozil Utd would snap him up before anyone as he's exactly the type of player they want but can't find and like above he wouldn't join us when were not in Champ league.
On Luke De Jong forgot about the lad from Holland and thought the talk was about nigel at city so yeah meets criteria of being not in champ league and on lower wages in weaker league.
And yeah done my research and found out when he was at Bayern he was on 88k a week, and when Podolski went to Cologne he got a wage increase. He's still not out of our reach and if he wants to join Arsenal who have a wage cap for squad players like him of around 70k I think he's still on the cards as a possibility for us although doubtful like you said

The problem with podolski is he just isn't good enough and never has been at club level he's a good international but no good in club football and he is hardly the player we need as he isnt the goal scorer we need so badly we need a higuain or gomez type player who just puts the ball in the net but I can't see either coming here because we aren't playing at the top level unfortunately but its the truth so will have to try our luck on a low profile up and coming player and hope he turns out to be class and not bloody Steven fletcher for gods sake

He's a good player, maybe not what we idealy want (superstar), but if Kuyt or Maxi leave in the summer, and we have already brought a 'name' striker, then he would be great for our squad.
