Personally I don't think we can afford to sell him ...in saying that I'd take upwards of 60 million for him ( and he'd be mad not to leave England given how badly he's being treated )
suarez is a good player but 1 goal in 11 or 12 leagues is his fault and he is not worth 60 million nowhere near it .

60 million lol.

You'd be lucky to get £25 million, he is seeing that the EPL is not as easy as the dutch league.

Yes he is a very good player but to say 60 million is madness

if you reckon 60 million for him then how much would Aguero cost whose game is similar to Surez but he has an end product, 100 million...

Wish we had bought Aguero, £35m he cost, 13 goals so far this season now that's money well spent!!

I agree, there is no way I would sell him for less than what Torres went for. 60 million and upwards. Barcelona and Real can afford that so if they want him, pay up. End of...

i think this thread just proves how many idiotic fans who know nothing about football are on this forum. bench the best player we have had for years whos been involved in everything good we do on the field. anyone with half a brain can see suarez is a playmaker and the best 1 we have by a mile.

the reactions of some people on here after a defeat is so petty and childish its just laughable, always lookin to point the finger and blame someone. stop throwing your toys out of the pram after every defeat and get behind the fans, yas are beginning to sound like newcastle fans on here wanting to change everything every 5 mins. thats whats holding us back not sentiment as that other lemon said

Technically Blackburn was a draw but it felt like a defeat. If it was the only instance a blip in an overall upward trend then yes it was an over reaction. But there are fundamental flaws in this team the midfield is not good enough and the attack is simply awful the worst I can ever remember in 35 years of watching Liverpool. Otherwise some good points to the team in defence but overall thats even near good enough and we look to be no more than a top half table team. Sorry to be negative but thats the way it looks to me I would be lying if I said otherwise. The worry for us all was the poor investment in early 2011 when huge errors were made. Now we need more injection of funds to try again. Will it work and will the owners release funds again immediately after just spending big?

I agree completely. On the topic of the thread and not your post, 21 goals in 18 games is a very sorry return, and if we're going to bench Suarez for not scoring enough, we'll have to bench the entire team.
what are you on about i am pointing out the lack of goals and being the main striker and the cutting edge and he has got one goal in 11 or 12 games (QPR) his last league goals before that in the league was at goodison now if you think that is good enough then sadly liverpool are in more trouble than we are if the main striker not doing his job scoring goals is ok .

I said I agree completely you idiot, 1 goal in 11 is a poor return. But on the topic of the thread (Not your post!), the thread was talking about dropping Suarez for not scoring enough. But the team as a whole isn't scoring enough. Try reading the post properly next time.

that's true. i mean it's quite obvious that suarez isn't the type of striker who will bag in 20-25 goals each season. he creates so many chances though but he needs a quality player to partner him up front and that's why we need to bring in such a player next month

I don't think that is obvious at all. He scored 81 for Ajax in 110 games, comprising 17, 22 and 35 goals in the league by season (the 22 was only 1 off the guy who scored the most). He scored 49 in all competitions in 09/10. That's a staggering return. He's supposedly as good as Rush or God, yet we want a goal scoring striker to play beside him? I feel that if Suarez didn't think he had to do everything (and actually had players who helped out, eg Gerrard) we wouldn't be having this discussion.

I think Suarez does not trust the quality of the other players. Therefore appears selfish. I would bench becuase i think he needs a break/rest
