Okay, I think we all can agree that a new striker is one of our priorities for January but who do you think we should get? I think a poacher type striker who can score the chances we are creating

Bent
Aged: 27

Pros:
Scored everywhere he has been apart from Spurs.
Fast
English

Cons:
Mccleish says not for sale.
Isnt young, no resale value

Overall:
Would be my first choice, will score goals and if he gets on the end of the chances we have been making then he will be a success. I guess he would join, we are a bigger club and Villa are crap.

Any one else got any suggestions?

Bent gets goals sure but not at the top level ie spuds we shouldnt waste anymore money on these average players in my opinion . But a decent shout and can see where you are coming from . Ohh and welcome mate

That was my first thought about it too.

But on the other hand I think we need to start performing better as a team than the level of our individual players suggest before we can even start to attract the real top players available.

Who would want to make a transfer to our club at the moment?

Underperforming is the very best we can say about our display right now.

I like Villa's Bent only problem is that he should of been signed a few seasons ago, I will be suprised if Dalglish goes in for another striker, he knows if he does it will be like admiting he was wrong to sign Carroll and he's much to stubborn to admit that.

I'm not so sure about that. After all a club like LFC should have at least 3 strikers in the squad.

You can't count Kuyt and Bellamy as strikers - they are both more like offensive midfielders, and either way just not good enough in the striker role.

I think we need one more striker in the line up, and now when no one in the team is on form (and awaiting the 8 game ban for Suarez) I think Kenny will actually go for a striker!

Also, I dont think by buying another striker we are admitting making a mistake with Carroll. Most top teams have 3/4 top strikers.

Stubborn? Really? Was he stubborn to sell rush then buy him back after year?

I'd love to know what kenny did to you!
Simple he's just not good enough, that should be reason enough for most fans unless ofcorse people want to make excuses for him due to sentimental reasons.

I don't think Kenny sold Rush I think Rushie wanted to play overseas. And when Kenny brought him back that was a mistake as second time round he was half the player.

Good shout bent, or defoe @ 10 m....whoever we sign and it needs to be a striker, he has to be proven no more potential please
