he is very young , i think he will be a good signing provided he is able to adjust to the english game . and with his contract expiring soon he wld be at a very attractive price , anything between 8-10 mil .

I would welcome the signing as I would welcome most signings given that they improve on what we have at the moment. I also heard about that rumour but I think there is very little truth to it as it makes no sense. I don't see how Twente would allow their player to come to anfield amid speculation of a transfer until the deal is done. If the deal was already agreed, we would have heard about it from LFC. So I doubt he will be there but i did read the same.

So apparently we are prepared to spend i the region of 38 million euros on Ajax pair Jan Vertonghen and Christian Erikksen...Apparently we will bid as soon as possible. Could be interesting as this would signal big spending in JAnuary as neither of those players is a striker and we know Kenny wants another striker. So, either the rumours is rubbish or we will be spending in January.

I have seen this rumour reported on several sites and have heard it from different people worldwide...could be interesting...

If this is true, we should all begin celebrating. Vertongen is a top class defender that can easily excel the current level of Agger and Skrtel. Plus, he is extremely versatile. Vertongen can play CB, LB and even defensive mid.

And though Eriksen is not a Striker, he can dribble, score and pass. And both players know Suarez so can easily link together. And for the money mentioned here, a complete bargain.
