I think we will snatch this Donelly kid, hope he is the new Robbie Keane. For the other players I think we have a real chance of signing Shiqiri, we were one of the first clubs to scout him and like we got Suarez we could get Shiqiri. Podolski would be another player I think we have got a good chance of signing. Maybe Marin if we put a good bid in. If we sign Donelly, Shiqiri, Podolski and Marin in january, we could finish in a real good position. However it is unlikely because Henry has to invest another 100m to get them. a 99% chance of it happening if we were called city

Well we have a problem in front of goal and I would be more interested in problem solving than in problem blaming, blame is a poor remedy. Nobody on here knows who made the decision to sign Carroll, yet some are all too happy to lay it at kenny's door, Why? Why not Comolli's door? or John Henry's door? If we blame and scapegoat any one of those mentioned, what will that profit us? Putting someones head on a plate will only leave us with a head less where we need it most, i.e. solving the problem. We are less than half way through the first season with a new regime, a rebuild, 6 new signings, etc. that kind of change doesn't gel overnight, we need to give it time and a reasonable chance. it's time for us to grow up and stop acting like spoilt brats with that horrible attitude of ...'I want it all and I want it now!'

Well said, Annefield.

it takes time yes, but this is a result business. i personally would have expected to see a lot more from downing etc 18 games into the season. he's 27, a england international and cost us almost 20m.
so i think there's reason to be a bit worried about what we're gonna do in january (regardless if it's kenny's, comolli's or the owners fault)

In my opinion Kenny's all other signings have been good, although some have shone more than others. Some of the players (Henderson) look a very bright prospect for the future. Having said that Andy Caroll is the only real bad signing he made: he cost too much, our style of play does not suit him and shown no sign of improvement yet.

HI guys, just read some interesting news about possible transfers. Apparently we are very very interested in Soldado and one fact that is working in our favour is that Valencia are still in a position where they wouldn't be able to refuse a decent offer for the player. He seems a very possible january signing for LFC.
On another note, insiders at the club who normally have something to say about transfers have stated that they are absolutely not at liberty to discuss a possible move for Ozil. People in the know find this to be a very strange situation as they have normally gotten info from the same insiders about other transfer targets. Perhaps we will make a move.
Lukas Podolski has been watched intensely but no concrete info on a possible offer from our side.
