As we all know, you lose 4 games out of the first 9 & your out of the title race in October. We're 7 points behind Man U so it's all over, or is it?
Last season we drew 6 home games against lesser teams & gained 6 points out of 18, this 12 points loss is the same as these 4 defeats. Don't listen to the likes of Mark Bright & Stan Collymore as they can't get to grips with 3 points for a win & don't realise a draw or a defeat are nearly as damaging as each other.
I am not saying we will win the title, but we are no way near being out of it yet. If we beat the Mancs next week, that gap is down to 4 points. Before anyone says we won't beat them, have you seen how bad they are playing? Even Mancs fans don't believe they have got 3 easy points coming there way next week.
We're not playing great, but who is?
Finally, in 1963-64 we lost 4 games out of the first 9 & still won the league, so it's not impossible.

Emp mate, yes we played like shyte. I saw the game and as much of an optimist as i am, i texted my mate in the 6th min. It read " we lost this one".
But i believe that things can change quickly in football. I knew, hand on heart, that there will be such a massive reaction on the forums calling for rafa's head. While you have stayed true and sung the same tune for a long time, i think perhaps it might jsut be better to get behind the team.
While it is apparent to some that Rafa is no longer the person to take us forward anymore, they is nothing we, as fans, can do about it except complain about it here which changes nothing.
I know it tough but stay positive.

its fair whatever u have said...but its 2009-2010 season.whatever we did last season ..whatever happened in 1964 ,,whatever happening to united..the thing is they are fecking getting 3 points out of every game ....thats the thing.and we are proving a disgrace and proving pathetic right from the pre-season.
its a hell of negativity.I really do hope for tables to turn for my beloved LFC like every other red.but i dont feel confident about the MAncs fixture..and worst part I have been dreading to imagine and this thing is fecking striking my head again n again about Judas on the score sheet...what else one might fear for that game.

i am taking it you didn't see yesterday's game then scanner?? bolton were ripped to pieces for 70 minutes yesterday and the scum should have put the game beyond doubt before bolton scored
i fear for us next weekend! rafa has to sort this mess out now or go ..... and he has to forget about the champions league and focus on the premier league!

I reckon based on current performances we got no chance, but i think the trick up tha managers sleeeve is aqulani, i wont be surprised if aquilanai is being ready for the mancs, cos that will be a trick up the sleeve, since nobody knows how to deal with our formation if he does play.

im sure he will be a better option that the current players, even if he aint firing on all cylinders, he sure a better option than the current situation. An every player will have his bad games and good games too.
How soon he adapts is really only time will tell.

lisdten aqualini was no zidane when he was fit, he was a good player with potential.considering he aint fit is italian adepting to an english centre midfield to hold out hopes on him is totally unfair to the fella. he can't be judged until jan-feb, so just forget about him till then lets wait n see...be it May even...its no bad to be excited for a talented bloke to go Red.. as far as adapting to English game is concerned.if u are comparing him with Dossena then players like that fat pig wont ever settle. I Reckon Aqua wont take much time.let me speculate EMP.i have every right... cheers.
