Hang on a minute you predicted we would win the title this season I presume you are amending this prediction ? or are we still on track? But does that also indicate a success now attitude also ? something you are berating people for doing. Double standards I feel. My own view is that of Shanks "reach for the sky and you get the ceiling reach for the ceiling you get the floor". Thats why I think we are right to give constructive critisim. Sticking your head on the sand and accepting mediority in the blind hope of better things is not in the clubs best interests. Nor we will ever have success in the future unless we address the faults.

Hopefully one of our strikers will score today. Both Suarez and Carroll have been on a goal drought for atleast 6 or 7 games.

Yea. PREDICTION and hope, as i thought/think we have the squad to do it, and we still can. Losing Lucas is a major blow to our chances however.
The real fight begins in 2 weeks time as it does every season.Who knows what's in store? Footie invariably brings suprises and shocks, so why not?
If we don't, then I certainly won't be ranting calling for anyones head and spitting me dummy out unlike many in here.
I've generally been pleased with the overall performance this season and have faith and belief in LFC for the coming 5 months.

Growler I agree with you on hope. Liverpool should NEVER accept either second best or aim for anything other than the title and champions league. And to win as many cups as possible. That I agree. Where I differ is that if we have clear failings (the striker position) then we should point it out. The Liverpool of the 70's and 80's stuck together but they were totally ruthless with those who did not deliver.

Liverpool to win by more than 2 goals, get your mortgage on it. Suarez and Adam are worth a goal each with either Kuyt, Bellamy or Maxi grabbing one

Put your finger on something there Stanley. Rampage is what's been missing from Carroll's game, he's being much too timid and falling over in deference to his opponents. He needs to be charging into the box like a raging bull and raising hell, instead he meekly falls over, picks himself up, shakes his girlish head and walks away! He needs to get mad as hell and stamp his authority on everything in and around the box, then maybe he'll find his finishing touch again.
