I don't think it's a very serious injury. If he did his knee, he won't have considered coming back on again. If it's ligaments, he won't have been able to to continue let alone try to run it off. I think he probably pulled some tendons and will be out for a few weeks.

sad about lucas he has been great very important player , but liverpool have adam, henderson , spearing, gerrard (soon hopefully ) recalled shelvey and only a month of the transfer window and sorry mr irish kopite it is not a costly mistake by my thread started , people are delighted, happy , made up ETC ETC after knocking chelsea out yes a blow but just rejoice at liverpool having an fantasic chance of going to wembley and winning a trophy .

we'll just go shoppy shoppy in january. yeah because thats the answer. end of the day we injured a top player in a nothing competition and its going to hinder our league campaign, just goes to show how far our club has slipped when our supporters mentality is similar to that of a club like everton just happy to be heading for a carling cup final and giving up on main priorities because it seems a bit difficult. pathetic
