Fergie is a winner. Who he respects or does not personally I could not care less. What I do care about as a Liverpool fan is us winning. If to do that we have a manager who is not also a saint in every respect would I or 99% or even 100% of fans care I think not. The job is club manager and success is the name of the game.

I could agree with that to a certain extent, however it matters to me that managers show respect to other clubs whoever the manager and whoever the club, even some of our managers have not shown the correct respect for other clubs etc, because tho in this case what he says goes! he has influence, i have none! so if hes such a great character in an important job he must reflect this when commenting on others, its much more credible! but i feel if you have no respect then you wont care about credibility and appraisal. again what he gives out is one thing and what we want is irrelevant to him it seems, that can work both ways tho. again tho we could name lots of managers who havnt respect for others but none with as much influence as i said.

First of all either have the guts to name me as hypocrite in the first place instead of hiding behind the most LFC fans headline, and if you use my posts to get your point over quote the whole post not just the parts that suit your gripe, also my post has nothing to do what so ever about Rafa its about Fergie and that's because we have done the Rafa moans on other threads so again stop hijacking every post to get your tiresome thoughts over. But just to stroke your ego ill comment on Rafa,I admire Rafa for his successes for us regardless of his faults, it changes nothing about my lack of respect for Fergie mostly because the two have nothing to do with each other,if your desperate to have your weekly rant then start your own Rafa/Fergie comparison thread. +1

Sahl from Singapore - I admire your enthusiasm for LFC but I don’t feel your perception matches the reality. The idea Liverpool players and staff are somehow nicer people is a nice thought but complete fantasy I am afraid. I can tell you plenty of examples where Liverpool players are ignorant I will tell you one today who is well known for its Stephen Gerrard who will blank you regularly. I have dealt with both Carragher and Gerrard many times and they are chalk and cheese in personality / friendliness thats not the club it’s just their personality. The same will be the case with Manchester Utd players I am sure. Your analogy with Fowler clearly shows what an idiot Fowler was and how he threw his career away. Via my company based in Manchester I manage 12 Manchester Utd season tickets I have dealt with Liverpool, and both Manchester Utd and Manchester City for over 25 years on corporate entertainment. In fact I am going to an away day at Manchester Utd in a few weeks not my idea by the way! I can tell you without any doubt whatsoever there is no difference in culture between any of these clubs how well they treat you depends on the employee you deal with. So please remove yourself from this false perception you are just kidding yourself my friend. You have completely missed my point. It's not about who is the nicer lot. That would be simplistic. I am talking about what the club stands for. fergie lets his players get away with things that LFC would not allow their players to. I have been a fan long enough to understand the club's philosophy. My analogy about Fowler simply reinforces what the older players felt about their club. Do you see the same thing happening at man united?

No idea what you are talking about Sahl any player that steps out of line with Fergie walks no matter how big. Keane, Ince, Beckham. Mccmannam fooling around in the London parties would soon have been brought into line. If Evans had been more like Fergie we could have won the title. Can you give examples of Fergie letting players get away with misdemenours I would be interested to hear them.

If you don't get my point from all the conversation we have had then you don’t want to.
