For the short term id take Anelka, he still has skills and scores when he plays.

He is not really a goal scorer, likes to roam around too like Suarez so he would not be a focal point. We need a CF that when given a chance will take it, I don't rhink Anelka is the one an the one and he is past it now.

Why not try and loan Henry until the MLS starts up again? I read he was training with Arsenal but they had no plans to take him on loan.

It would be just as good an option as Anelka IMO. As a short term solution to get us some goals to get a top 4 spot it might be a good idea. He might even be able to show Carrol the way to the goal!

always liked sturridge. used to like anelka too but his attitude is terrible. he's as bad as berbatov and torres for sulking and doing absolutely nothing off the ball.

like we are going to be able to get sturrige, his playing regularly for his team and doing a good job so why would chelsea sale him to us? why not go for ronney if we are just going to say any random name

I think Henry has the cash so we don't need to get a cheap option that is not going to help much when it counts. Again I think 25m should be enough to lure Cavani and not 40m.

If we got this Cavini guy he looks the same build as Carroll and must be a direct replacement. Would this not go against the buy english policy?
