Shows his attitude is spot on, he knows a solid midfielder will allow his partner to get forward and will be there to cover for any mistakes further up the field.

I think he has been great this year and most of last, he really is maturing into a fantastic player.

We must also remember he was never a true DM but is being used like one and has been for at least two seasons now, he is certainly one of the first names on the sheet these days, along with that beast at the back Agger, just seeing him in the team gives me confidence.

I can't heap enough praise of Lucas, I really can't. He got so much abuse and really dug his heels in, worked hard and changed people's minds on him. He's not one of my favourite players for us, and I think he's one of our most vital players. I actually really enjoy watching him play. His movement and reading of the game off the ball is just spot on.

Lucas is the man. Great servant to the club and when he leaves or retires we will be fondly remembered by reds fans. Attitude / committment spot on !

Yes must say I've warmed to him myself, having been lukewarm last season, and I really like the tone and content of that interview he gave. Another player I'm warming to is Johnson I think he could make a really good right winger thereby solving a problem for us.

I remember the days when lucas gets 3 threads after each match. Welldone to him because he has turned his career around. Future Brazil and Liverpool Captain in my opinion. keep improving lad!

Does not panic and with every game his passing and link up play gets more and more fluid.
Think him and Charlie are really starting to gel in midfield.
How lucky are we that fans don't pick the team otherwise he would have been sold 3 years ago!

ive always backed him because as mentioned before he has always been played out of position, still he just gets on with it. i still cant believe how much abuse he gets from the stasnds. if any other player misplaces a pass its the usuall groan but if lucas does it....
im made up he's doing well, he deserves it.
