yes its my opinion. if you did a poll outside liverpool most people would vote hughes also. rafa has been found out , he won silverware with valenica cause the players were already there and barca-madrid were having off years and stevie g and carra won us the cl and the fa-cup..both of which we actually drew. I have already expressed at times that i dont really fancy him for the position too but it hurts when Big Fart Sam or Hughes are supposed to do magic here.m sure they too are not upto the mark... and in the current situation with the ownership woes, anyone replacing him will only add more to our wounds, I can bet..this aint the time that LFC can bear a further blow..offcourse it wont be good at this time around and u gotta agree on this.. Ideally one might wish and i think should be fair enough that the ownership saga ends before long and Rafa is strictly evaluated at the end of the season. If he still tries to get sympathies with not being supported financially, we dont win any of trophy, slip from CL Spot ...he gets a boot.simple. A enthusiast, capable, bold manager of proven pedigree (and im not talking about Zola :P) assured of some realistic financial backing and here we go.....

i would agree that the owners will not appoint the right man ,that's nearly a given. they will appoint somebody that will play along with their lies. so its not a good situation and i am sure rafa could have done with more support from the owners.
that said if we slip out of the top 4 it could be a long time before we get back there, i can't help but think the yanks want this , they are mad to sell torres, they are asset strippers and they will rip the club up and sell its carcass on because somebody will always buy the world wide fan base appeal.
sadly rafa seems to be right on course for a nightmare season as he persists in 4 holding midfield players and playing lucas.,from the first day of pre-season everyone could see masceranho lucas in the centre of midfield was nothing. yet rafa stubbornly persists even though any half decent side has beaten us with ease. i agree with a lot of what you are saying... The key points are: - Rafa has not been backed in the right way, and would probably have done much better if he'd been given the funds he were promised... - this mess won't stop until the yanks has sold the club. Doesn't matter if we'd get a new manager because they wont back him either. - Rafa is a very stubborn man, but he should be able to see that Lucas-Masch doesn't work at all. Playing Lucas week in week out is a massive mistake. Even though the squad is not as good as our competitors there is still better options than Lucas-Masch. In an ideal world we'd get new owners before next summer who would provide Rafa with the funds to compete at the highest level, and Rafa would be given a year to prove his critics. Then if it didn't worked out after that season he should be replaced...

dude its a damn fact and someone has rightly said that theres always more than one side of the story....i must say that LFC SUPPORTERS CAN BE BROADLY CATEGORIZED IN THREE...THE ONES OPTIMISTIC,OTHERS PESSIMISTIC AND THE THIRD EMP .. Who Bloody knows that coming days Torres and Stevie Stay Fit,Aqua comes an instant hit, with Yossi continue with his improved form of last season, same horse like work rate of kuyt,Babel revitalizes his career,Agger stays fit,Carra regains his form and one might feel that LFC are not thaat pathetic as they feel after reading EMP's Posts...LOLLZ why are u so bloody sure that a weakened united side, ageing chelshits and i Bet a mere loss or two will tear away the Hype at other part of the Manchester and suddenly one might say to me " MUJ! there are only two types of LFC Fans,,the optimistic Ones and EMP.......... lolls.. mate no offense...lets wish and pray good for our beloved team....

i wait for aqulani before i judge him,cos that would push lucas to the bench, then the holding midfielders debate will stop for the season, i have heard enough of this lucas and masherano story for now. We have won with them in the team, and we have lost with them in the team, so they arent exactly the cause of every problem we have had.

I wish Rafa would be given enough funds for one descent transfer period. The fact that he won us 3 trophies in his first 3 season has put added pressure on him to deliver the premiership. Fergie didn't win anything until after 3 and a half years. He always gives his time to the press even after games we have lost yet they always take him apart.
