There is no way Rafa is ever coming back to Liverpool.

1. For all the reasons Faz has articulated
2. Once Daglish fails there is no way the owners will entertain another ex manager especially one who some fans want. They will pick their own man next time particularly when they have more knowledge of the game.

Thundyr, you talk as much sense as anyone else i've seen on this forum. You're arguing with someone who talks as little sense as anyone i've seen on this forum. Faz doesn't know the definition of a debate, because no matter what you say to him, he has already has his mind made up and will ignore addressing your valid points in favour of repeating his own invalid ones over and over.

ok he isnt toxic , but he has had disputes with the valencia board , gerrard ,alonso, carragher, reina, torres and the person who had been his right hand man for years pako , plus rick parry , purslow even h&g , then he fought with the star players at inter milan stalwarts like zanetti and materrazzi and then the president of inter milan , then he turns up at villa and starts to demand , now lets look at this list are all these people wrong or is benitez just a poor misunderstood person ?

Disputes with all of those. Well that compares with Fergie who has had disputes with Beckham, Rafa, Wenger, tons of referees, people in the FA, the BBC, Strachan, Keegan and I'm sure the list goes on for a long time.

Now lets looka t that list. Are all these people wrong? Or is Fergue just a poor misunderstood person?

Or...is it just that those who are passionate about what they do and determined will inevitably fall out with many people who get in their way.
sorry what has it got to do with a manchester united employee ?

You can never say never in football, SP. I agree with part of what you're saying - I don't think he'll be the next manager whenever Kenny's reign comes to an end, but say Kenny stayed for 3 years and our next manager stays for 3 years - 6 years down the line and Rafa may have gone on to be successful somewhere else, and LFC may be looking to bring him back to try work some magic here. Ifs and buts galore, but it's just my point - you can never say never, because you don't know what's around the corner.

No not at all. You have your own opinions and you're perfectly entitled to them, but you falsely brand other people with different opinions as "blind" amongst other things. You're never open to debate, just argument.

i think they are blind faithers and blinkered about benitez , theres aquliani in todays mirror talking about a 6 million euro deal to milan , this is the player benitez said was worth 30 million never mind 20 million how much again was wasted by him and the club still suffers from .

Is this debate really about whether or not Rafa is coming back? Seems more like people wanting to have a go at him for old times sake, as well has having a go at the supporters who thought he did an excellent job prior to H&G and a half decent one thereafter.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Rafa should not manage at LFC until all the players he (mis)managed are no longer playing for the club. That puts a likely return at least 10 years into the future, if at all. Time enough for him to learn some humility to add to his tactical acumen. Time enough for LFC to find a "lifer" manager ala Paisley instead.

None of this is relevant to the success or failure of Dalglish (don't you love how the haters will find even the most tenuous of excuses to remind us how hopeless we are as a football club - do these people really support LFC?), nor to the "truths" of Rafa's reign (real or imagined) as seen by a section of the crowd who feel we were better off not buying a left back instead of signing on Dossena. Anyone notice how good our defense was last season without a left back? That's not a defense of the player (who was awful), merely the point that in some cases you just have to gamble because any player is better than no player at all. Sadly, Rafa wasn't a very good gambler.
