Rafa's not our manage anymore and he won't be able to pounce without approval from the board. he did well to a certain extent and for that he sometimes deserves acknowledgement and praise without ifs and buts. Can you do it Faz?

I did read it... it came with a 'but...'.

Bearing in mind that this is a Rafa appreciation thread (as opposed to one to discuss good and bad points about rafa), I'll challenge you again to say something good about the man without ifs and buts or without pointing out his shortcomings in any way.

Well yes fair point. Amd with John Henry seemingly having as much idea as Silvio Berlusconi at running thing we might just get Rafa in on the basis that is what the fans are asking for (at that precise minute).
TBH Stanley I cant see Henry bowing to the fans again and making another mistake with a sentimental appointment with Benitez, not after the Dalglish one failing so miserable and at a cost, I can see him making a decision on whats best for his business rather than what the fans want, afterall it's his Club not the fans and it's his money.

I think Henry is a great owner. He refused to give Kenny the job straight off. Gave him a trial and left it IMPOSSIBLE not to employ him simply because of how well he did. Everything he says, he does. He is building the club for the long term.

As for rafa, one of the best managers in the game and would have him back tomorrow.

just unbelievable best team in the world , do the best teams in the world not win nothing , do the best teams in the world get beat by the worst team in the league at the time(middleboro) the only win at home , plus all the other bad game west ham and fulham at home when liverpool were booed off the pitch , wigan away, everton in the league and cup , chelsea wiping the floor with liverpool in the champions league if liverpool were the best team in the league what did that make manchester united who won the league ? just an utter ridculous statement again where sentiment and blind faith clouds judgment .

We wiped the floor with Madrid and United, and did a double against them that season. We were the better team, however not in terms of points.
