got to win a cup sorry mate but to dismiss liverpool winning a cup is just mindboggling from some , its the quarter final stage its up for grabs i just dont see why liverpool cant play one extra game before january

i dont think any fan would say no to a cup. they may say they rather have the CL position or PL title but if it was a choice of winning a cup and not winning anything, ALL fans would choice to win something regardless of how much value they put on that particular cup.

I suspect he will play the full team, he is just moaning about it now just to scare the FA for future incidents.

If anything Chelsea should be the one complaining, look at their schedule. 4 games in 9 days while we have 3 in the same period.

A bit of gossip?!

You would think that was the case with all supporters but it isn't.

I've had many arguments on other forums with fans of other clubs (Spurs mainly) who would rather finish 4th and get CL football than win a cup.

When you support a club that hasn't won trophies in donkeys years you would think a trophy in the cabinet is better than a 4th place position but unfortunately nowadays it's all about the money.

As for which match would I like to win i'd like to win both but due to the way we have dropped silly points in the league we need the league win more as it puts us joint on points with Chelsea and in order to get 4th or better we need to keep up amongst the top teams

I would rather get into the champions league than win either the carling cup or FA sorry but thats the way I feel. Both to put the club back in the big league but also because I love european football. Look back over the years 70% of the great games were european nights. Also the club should target a range of goals not just one which is the sign of a lesser club which hopefully we are not, well not yet anyway.

So looks like we wont be adding the Carling Cup this season after dalgish telling skysports "Liverpool fans NOT to buy tickets for the Carling Cup clash with Chelsea" as he is playing kids is it just me or is people forgetting that these footballers are just playing football

yes very nice mate but winning a cup must be priority how much longer does this club have to go before going to wembley and winning a cup , i seriously dont see how liverpool going to a cup final and winning a cup is somehow (nothing or worthless) , this is a hangover from benitez this who just dismissed the domestic cups well sorry he was very very wrong to do this and it was contemptuous to say the least , 6 years going into 7 years and liverpool havent won anything , its just shortsighted madness for liverpool not to want to see liverpool win things , and liverpool are on the brink of a possibly cup final chance and it is being called(lesser,nothing,worthless,5hitty,mickey mouse) well if liverpool winning is all that we may as well fold the club to say liverpool possibly winning a cup is not worth winning is just a disgrace .
