If we don't win a trophy this season, it'll be the club's longest trophy drought in almost 40 years. If we don't win a trophy it'll be at least next season before we win anything, which will be 7 years. The last time we went that long without a trophy was between 1966-73.
Strange, it only seems like yesterday we won in Istanbul followed by the FA Cup the next year. The trophy drought between 1995-2001 seemed a lot longer. is that a good statistic for a club like liverpool ? Absofuckinglutely not! I agree with you here, man!

its would be very nice to finish 4th or higher but to win a cup and to go to a cup final is what its all about , its what liverpool football club is about , just qualifying for the CL does not guarantee anything , but a cup win would mean so much just look at spurs in 2008 they won the league cup and went from strength to strength and this is the way liverpool should go because 4th is possibly and likely out of reach this season even after millions spent .

To say 4th is likely out of reach is a bit much, faz! The season is only 11 games old, don't be panicking just yet. Also, I've maintained all along that both are achievable, not just 1 of the 2! I stand by that.
