To be fair to the fans who want to win the carling cup (including me), the majority of people here just want the 3 points before the cup game and thats all what matters. It is just one extra game each month, it will not hurt us, we are not in Europe so we must make up for it by winning a trophy. There is no choice between either or because we will be gathering points in the league in the meantime.

Everything is so unpredictable that we have to contend for every single honour there is and see how we do,just like we used to.

last 7 finals apart from birmingham all top 6 teams mostly top 4 and in spurs case was a catalyst to getting in the champions league the season after thats why the carling cup is important
