Best thing would be for the council to make use of the local houses in places outside of liverpool like fazaakerly and force the owners to use one room to accomodate overseas fans , for the big games. I mean, fans that come from china should get priority for seats and accomodation, after all its the far east who will be paying for the new stadium

from my point of view. we have no profesional league in ireland, im supporting a club in the closest profesional league to our country. ive supported liverpool since i was a young boy, ive played football my whole life and love watching it and following it. now i obviously picked a club when i was younger and liverpool were prob one of the best at the time. but thats the same for most people regardless of where there from. you could have choose everton or trnmere rovers to support crown but you did nt you choose the more succesfull club liverpool. those that not also make you a "glory hunter" as you put it? your wrong liverpool supporters in the city its passed down through generations your dad took you or your uncle and so on , my dad took me when i was 7 and my dad watched liverpool in the 2nd division before shankly so not glory hunters mate So what are the opinions in my case: My grandfather lived in Liverpool for many years, my father was born there but they moved to the United States when he was younger. I have had the passion handed down to me as well but since I do not live there do I not have a legitimate claim at being a red?

hypothetical question , say the club finish 5th and 6th for another 2 or 3 seasons dont win nothing and go out the limelight a bit , and the foreign fans choose to follow spurs and man city what do the club do then why the locals have stopped going and the likes of the irish might not come over as much ? You think that just because certain fans aren't actually from Liverpool, that they don't have any loyalty to Liverpool? Unreal. I'm 27 now and i've supported LFC since I was young enough to appreciate football. I was 6 when LFC last won the league. I don't remember the 92 FA Cup win, the 95 Coca Cola Cup win was the first trophy I remember us winning, and I saved up my pocket money for ages to buy my first LFC jersey in 93. After the 95 Coca Cola Cup win, we didn't win anything else until 2001. During all those years, I was obsessed with LFC - I ate slept and breathed LFC. I could tell you the result of any fixture home or away and the scorers for any of the last few years. Completely obsessed. So don't think that just because fans aren't from the city, that they have no emotional attachment with the club and will turn their backs and switch to another clubs when the going gets tough.
