There are many people ignoring swansea's performance, I know that has been said in the past (against wba) but you would expect to beat wba anyday of the week however swansea turned up and made it extremely difficult for us, credit to them. Their passing game is unbelievable for a promoted side, they average 500 passes a game which more than the top teams do. Credit to swansea as they performed very well.

Despite swansea's performance, we had the game. Just needed the finishing. I agree with most that we should start with Bellamy against opposition we can dominate, with Downing on the bench. Bellamy makes for a great attacking option. Downing is not a bad player by far but he needs to feel there is competition. As does Henderson.
I am only responsible for what I write. Not for what you understand.

I only signed up so I could say this
The doom mongerours on this site are absolutely pathetic, we have a team who are wasting chance after chance yes, but what the feck did we have under podgeson? We had sh1t defensive football of the lowest order and not worthy of a Liverpool shirt.
I for one love the way we play now and move the ball around and even though we are not winning as many as we should I am not going to call a beheading of the King to stop this football, bugger that I like it as frustrating as it is.
Things are moving forward and all power to the man. The lads on the field have to share the blame for yesterday and carroll can get his fecking head in order for sure, but it will come.
Anyone who wants instant success for tons of money, the man city bus is somewhere else.
Oh and on the weekend SAF has his 25th anniversary and has been successful, I will give him that, there is a leason to learn. Changing a manager after a couple of sodding draws is not the answer, he was only one game away from being sacked too.
Now either support the team or sod off in my view.

People are also forgetting the football lesson we recieved from swansea, their passing was great. Good game to watch too.

Yes, you said. But you were wrong. There's no point going into it over and over. You're wrong. If Downing produced chances like that every game, he'd get in any side in the world. Saying he woudl produce that every game, doesn't mean for the rest of the game he just sits in the stands. THAT is childish. He does the simple things anyway. Any premiership player can chase around and close down.
As for the team not being good enough. I'm less concerned about that. Our team is better than Swansea's is it not? therefore at home we should beat Swansea, and completely outplay them. We didn't.
Yes the team could be better, but it's good enough to DO better. It's not because of the manager. Haven't said he would sit in the stands for the rest of the game, so you just made that up to make up an argument, you being childish again. Just berating me with you are wrong you are wrong with no evidence shows you to be childish again. Don't know if you mentioned the manager to me or not? Cause I haven't said anything against him, the team performance was poor today, but so was was Utd's we just haven't learned to win ugly yet but it will come. And lastly, if you think if downing played like he did today every single game, with one good ball a game and the rest of the time doing simple things with a couple link ups, would get in to any side in the world, well you are just hilarious. I mean I actually don't know what to say to you that point was so ridiculous. The wingers in the top sides do more than produce one ball a game, sort it out lad you made yourself look silly with that point.

There is nothing wrong with posting negative things on here if you are unhappy with things, take no notice of these muppets who are watching the game through rose tinted glasses or backing Dalglish simply because he was a legend 30 years ago. Swansea only got promoted last season and are a decent, hard working, well organised side, no more and they came to Anfield yesterday and for long periods played us off the park, Now you can dress that up as much as you want but that is simply not aceptable for a Club whose fans on here are talking about finishing in the top four, the blame lies squarely at the door of Kenny Dalglish, tacticaly inept and totaly out of his depth.

So, just to recap then......Last season from the first game 'Dalglish the inept' took over, to the last of the season we were second only to Chelsea I believe for points won in the Premier league. Yet he is out his depth and inept. There is no logic to your argument, which is probably why those who know something about the game have given you so much stick. Kenny Dalglish is the manager of LFC and deserves more than 11 poxy games with a team of newbies to get it right.
