yes but how can you say that when they did not even play in the same era? ok then suarez is better than dalglish then or torres is better than rush or roger hunt when they are not , gerrard great player but not better than souness as a midfielder or captain . Yes again you are comparing players from different era's, you cant make those judgements, we can compare Suarez to Torres, and say on the basis of this year and the last Suarez is the better player. They are playing at the same time, its logical to compare that. ok so dalglish is not the greatest player in liverpool history because he isnt playing now ?

Look I can never say who is the greatest ever. If you are talking who embodies LFC the greatest I would argue Dalgish. However I can not say he is the greatest ever, although we can compare Dalgish to greats of his era, so where would you put Dalgish overall in his era.
