That's no argument

I agree that Crown Paints is one of these modern football who wants it all and wants it now but since finishing 5th City invested a further 100 million or so into their already much bolstered squad

What we have spent, in net terms at least, is pocket money - and even then, apart from Suarez, Enrique and Adam, they were massively overpriced

But I do agree that Chelsea are nowhere near as good as people think - and that goes all the way back to their increasingly implausible manager

Terry, Lampard and Ashley Cole are just as overrated (albeit undeniably better) as the British players we decided to buy this summer

Anelka, Chech, and Mata are quality players, Ramirez looks okay, but the rest of the squad just aren't that great - simple as

To clarify I wasn't saying we were going to win the league or that we are on par with City, I'm only pointing out that 2 seasons is not going to necessarily determine where we finish. It's a long time, and things have changed, manager and squad alike. I meant that how we are performing now will determine where we end up, not our results last year, and right now we are just one point from Chelsea and Arsenal.

just something I want to clear up; most posters here assume I am female, (presumably because of the name I adopted) but I'm not female I'm male. I adopted the name to reflect the name given to the plot of land that the Anfield Stadium is built on (named by the owner after the Townland he came from, ie. Annefield) and the year I began to follow LFC (1958). Perhaps not such a good idea as it seemed at the time!

This crownpaints/jimmycase and whatever other names he went by guy - I don't get him. I don't like throwning these sort of accusations around, but i'm genuinely wondering if he's legitimately a Liverpool FC fan. Anyone with a pair of eyes and half a brain can see he's blatantly trying to wind people up with the overly-negative things he's saying about the team. I refuse to believe any LFC fan would actually be that anti-LFC.

Yes BarLennon, Lain seems to be the only one, and a great role model for other females she is too, always knowledgeable and sensible in her posts. We could do with a few more Lain's on here.
And yes you've hit the nail on the head there again, Crownpaints has to be either winding us up or he's no LFC fan! I too can't believe LFC fans could be so anti our manager and players.
