I still think Spurs are nailed on for fourth myself, just think although they will lost a few more games than us and Arsenal over the season they will win more and with 3pts for a win that will be crucial. The thing for me about Spurs is that they can win both home and away and are especialy strong at home whereas Arsenal and ourselves drop silly points. I think Arsenal will get better and also strenghthen in January they for me will probably sneek fifth and I fully expect Newcastle to fall away due to not having strenghth in depth squad wise which will enable us to take 6th from them.

I don't think anyone is nailed for 4th or even 3rd for that matter. Chelsea look to be within range of an unhorsing with us only a point under them and Arsenal and Tottenham only a couple points below us. Newcastle have surprised everyone and done quite well, though they will probably drop, and Arsenal are climbing back. Tottenham do look dangerous, but this season it looks like anything could happen. I could any of Tottenham, Liverpool, and Arsenal to potentially finish 3rd if Chelsea drops, and I think that the competition for the 3rd and 4th spots will go down to the wire.

KD and team should only concentrate on taking the next 3 points from Swansea. The team is lots better without Carragher in the team and there is certainly more passing and movement.
But still we lack the killer instinct and the ruthlessness needed in tight games. We are at least 5 points off where we should be with the amount of chances we have had this season.

We will be far more consistent than Arsenal and Spurs I think. Spurs and Arsenal are on a good run, but TBH, they have been lucky aswell. They concede more chances than us and create less. Remember when Spurs and Arsenal only had draws second half of last season??

You dont seriously think Chelsea will drop do you, you must know if Chelsea were ever struggling before January Roman would put his hand in his pocket and blow us, Spurs and Arsenal out of the water. Chelsea are having a few bad results thats all, nothing more nothing less, they are comfortably the third best team in our league and anyone who suggests otherwise is just nieve am afraid. I think Liverpool will fight it out with Arsenal for fifth and sixth place and the way we played against West Brom and the way Arsenal did at the bridge I think it's more likely sixth than fifth for us.

I think it's up for grabs. I didn't say they would drop, but I think that they could (again could) drop as low as 4th or 5th. Their talismans are old and getting older, and I think it is highly possible for them to finish in any of the 3-5 spots. I also think that Arsenal, Tottenham, and Liverpool are challengers for 3rd and 4th place. 1 point up is not "comfortably third," especially when they're tied with Newcastle. Villas Boas seems to not be taking as well to the premier league as everyone thought he might, and as I said, their money players (the core of the squad mind you) are getting old. Maybe I'm naive (I think that's what nieve was supposed to be), but I'm not willing to put my house on anything.

Furthermore, Roman's pockets didn't exactly achieve their end last January window, did they? They were playing out of their minds and looked to win the league at first, and then the wheels fell off, and Roman's money couldn't stop it. Hell, they probably would have done better last season if they hadn't bought Torres and Roman had left the squad alone.

boa arse hasn't a clue what he is doing. we can over take them yea looks like it's city vs man u for the title and the other 4 clubs will be competeing for 3rd and 4th... Wouldn't rule Chelsea out of the title race just yet. Think some of us should learn our lesson after writing off Arsenal, look at them now... well up there and in contention for fourth place if not higher. Chelsea are now in a rough patch but anything can happen in the Prem this season as we have seen. How many 'fans' wrote us off also and look where we are now! If Chelsea are still in the title race why cant we also be considered to be still in it? If as you say, Arsenal are "well up there and in contention for fourth place if not higher" why cant we (a point ahead of them) not be considered in "contention for fourth place if not higher" May I suggest sheer unadulterated negativity on the part of these "fans"! Forever whinging on about bad signings, too much money spent, and any other sh*t they can latch on to. Time they got behind the team and act like real fans, not enemies who try to undermine and drag us down.

if teams attack chelsea, arsenal, they will score, as both teams have weak defences. as shown in yesterdays game
just got to make sure we have a better defence then them.
