positional sense is something that comes with experience for 99.9% of players. there are some exceptions to that rule, and they're all italian.

People suggesting Suarez on the bench??
Stupid IMO.. we need him and Carroll to play together so they can gel before the big matches against City and Chelsea. And, he actually passes the ball.

I agree. They're just starting to figure each other out and they need to really mesh before we play bigger teams.

i'd make 2 changes kelly and bellamy in for johnson and suarez. i know everybody thinks without suarez we'd be useless. imo thats just media bullsh!t, we're always a 1 man team according to them. imo suarez needs to be put in his place, he is playing like he is all on his own and not part of a team, ignoring simple passes/crosses in favour of trying to go round another defender and shooting from ridiculous angles. he is doing brilliant stuff in general but when it really matters he's not getting it right enough. u shud be put in an asylum

I agree people are saying Suarez is greedy and is too much of a lone wolf. if he doesnt do it who else is gona?? the mighty charlie adam??? or the predator that is stewart downing?? with gerrard out injured who is there to grab us goals. ok there is andy carroll henderson and maybe Adam could bring in one or two but Suarez is the one player distancing us from a good( and i mean good) midtable side this season we will have to rely on him to get us into the CL and then buy class in Jan or the summer

Totally agree, Suarez is not injured, neither does he look tired except of course after games. He needs to play more games with Carroll to adapt his relationship. Knowing Kenny, we may have a very different partnership, but it can only benefit them if they start most of the games together as they are the future.

Knowing Kenny, we may have a very different partnership, but it can only benefit them if they start most of the games together as they are the future. i see what your saying, but it's only one game against swansea and we have city and chelsea coming up, so giving suarez a little rest might not be the worst idea. also with suarez being on the bench it would put a bit of pressure on carroll and i think he would like that. he was head boy at newcastle and he seemed to love it. with suarez not playing, of course we would lose a lot creativity. but if we have carroll, henderson, bellamy, adam and downing not to mention 2 very attacking full-backs on the pitch. that should be more than enough to beat swansea at home.

I see your point house, perhaps its better to keep him on the bench and see how things are developing since we have those other big games the following weeks.

can't fot the life of me understand why on earth a young player would need 'resting' for a ninety minute game. it's not as if we're playing three games a week. Christ ,I'd have them cleaning the seats at anfield when they're not training and maybe doing a few local errands. Resting my arse
