With the united game coming up i am just wondering what your best memories of this match are?? mine is us beating them four one and then hammering Madrid in the same week at that moment we were the best team in the world

We were almost invincible and no teams could get pass us. Every victory against the scum is a wonderful memory.

Yes the 4 - 1 win was great for me,started off with a nervous twitch and giggle,ending up rolling round the couch in fit of uncontrollable laughter!

I did enjoy the 3-1 when Riise scored that rocket,was watching with my nephew(manc) who was about 9 at the time,he said it wasn't fair that somebody could hit the ball that hard

yes wakka i remember that goal i thought the net would break, one of my favirotes at anfield and everyone forgets this one is the 1-0 win in the fa cup to actully knock the mancs out of cup competion ment the world to me and the fact that we then went on to win the cup was even better

I remember where I was for both of those games. The 4-1 game is one of my favourites, definitely! Almost had to pinch myself!
Was in Cardiff for the 2003 Worthington Cup Final when we beat them 2-0, which was brilliant!

I think I will go for the Danny Murphy free kick we had not beaten them for years. The tension in the second half but we did it, so happy at the final whistle.

I was watching that 4-1 match in a packed pub full of both sets of fans and I remember I was on my way back from the bar with 3 pints in my hands when Aurelio's free kick went in for 3-1 and I was having a spaz-attack because I wanted to jump around the place but needed to get the pints down first hahah
The 3-1 win last season was brilliant. The only downside about it was the needless goal we let in late on. It took the shine off it a bit. Great win anyway, but 3-0 looks a hell of a lot better than 3-1. I'd take any sort of win against them though!!
