played really badly today, needs to be addressed urgently. Bellamy instead of carroll in the team please. Carroll was woeful bar a well taken goal. agree with you 100%. apart from the goal carroll was not good. some people are saying he should be man of the match ha ha

He did exactly what a big number 9 should. He hustled, made problems, won headers, and scored a goal. What else do you want? He even tracked back to play defense and made some key clearances. I'm happy with his game.

The ref made a terrible call but it was assisted by Suarez's jump and possibly a loud scream. The ref was no more than 4 feet away and maybe that was the problem. He saw and heard it and naturally thought that it was OTT tackle.
Suarez is getting a name for going down at the slightest touch. the problem with that is that defenders will be going in harder and winding him up cause he has got the nasty streak in him when things are not going right. KD needs to get in his ear about this. He is going to cost us a game one of these days.

Terrible game and a very lacklustre performance by both teams, there was zero entertainment value and both teams were kicking it up field and hoping, its good we got the 3 points but play like this against united and we will be crushed. Terrible performance.

You have a point there, Rafa.
But isn't the problem that we are too weak in our central defence?
4-4-2 does imply that you play in 3 separate defence lines.
If we had really solid defenders then we could experiment all day long with tons of different formations. As it is now we always have to compromise our offensive creativity away just to have a chance of keeping a clean sheet.

Ok he got the ball, yes, but there was contact and he landed hard. Don't get your panties in a bunch and call him a cheater that needs to be banned. We're watching it in slow motion, but the ref wasn't. He made a bad call, but he didn't get a replay. The first time I saw it, I thought it was a lot nastier than it was. Just calm down.

rodwell card rescinded, so some justice. think fa should ban suarez for a game for his reaction. they need to try clean up the game Starting with Liverpool, of course! As opposed to starting with clubs that have bad disciplinary records (eg Arsenal) and so on. Get real, mate.

i know the game and i know what I saw. he totally faked it, the tackle didn't even reach him. if that was andy carroll or another british player the game would have played on as if the tackle never happenned , which it didn't . The follow through caught him but he made sure everyone knew...so what?
