For me we should always play our strongest lineup and what is better for the team, and i dont see Henderson and Carroll in that lineup at the moment.

Carroll needs service from both wings, which at them moment he isnt getting so cant really judge him at the moment, and the team resorts to hoofball when he is on the pitch which stops Suarez playing his natural game which we all want to see him do.

Henderson is supposed to be the long term replacment for SG, as he is now back henderson should not be starting, bring him on when we are wining games to give SG a rest and we might see him get a bit more confidence and improve in time.

Carroll should be used for games when teams put 10 men behind the ball, but when we should be pressing the game it should be Bellamy and Suarez, who look like they have a good understanding with SG just behind in support.

Midfield of Adam,Lucas and Downing, with Kelly and Enrqiue overlapping down the wings, and we should have plenty going forward in attack, but also should be ok in them supporting for defense as they are quick.

I would still like to see Johnson tried RW as he is quick and can drop back and support defense if needed.

Just my thoughts, might disagree with me but we dont all share the same logic on what is best for our club lol, i just would like to see us taking the game to the oposition for a change and make them have to worry about us rather than us worry how we will break them down and just play what we do best, pass and move.

Yes we need to play the strongest team,those that are firing now,Carroll hasnt took off yet he needs to stay in the box when hes on he tends to roam around, when he does get on that is,havnt seen much of him but what i have seen he needs to step up a notch,get in the mix,would agree hendo to come on inplace of stevie when were winning and give stevie a rest,until hendo is as good as stevie himself,if only! jury is out on carroll and hendo but they are young and its along term thing for them i think.

hope we start with this reina kelly carra coates enrique lucas adam bellamy downing kuyt suarez dont think stevie fit enough to start like 2 see him gettin last half hour

Do you not think that any decent manager would go out of their way to defend a player???

He's played every game for liverpool this season - barr the one against brighton

The only thimng it's poroven to me is that any of Kuyt, Maxi, Johnson, Bellamy would be a better option

I'm not saying he won't improve as the season goes on but at this stage you have to pick players that are on form and Jordan's last two performances undetrline that he's not one of them

I think Henderson has shown that he's not a ready-made RM, but may have a future in the center of midfield. This suggests that with Gerrard nearing full fitness his game time will be limited, as the more experienced players like Kuyt and Bellamy would be better suited to wider attacking roles or switching flanks with Downing.

The flip-side is that players tend to learn more from having a long run of games, so persisting with Henderson could be to his benefit. Right now though we need a bit more stability, I reckon, and he's the easiest player to cut with Gerrard coming back.

The bigger question is formation. Does Kenny stick with Suarez and Carroll as a front 2, or do we revert to lone striker systems where we pick our wings based on which striker starts? Part of me wonders whether Kenny himself knows which is our best formation or how long we should persist with tactics that flatter only to deceive.

I hope Gerrard is on the bench. I really fear for him if he starts. Need to be very cautious with him. Give him the last 20mins this time only.

I like the sound of that. Let's see if he does.

That would be interesting. Gerrard and Hendo are very similar though. I think Lucas, Adam, and Gerrard looks more likely.
