Guys, we were giving Lucas more stick than we are giving Henderson and look where Lucas is now.

give it some time. Remember that Lucas only stepped up after Alonso and Mascherano went.

Lucas lets no one down but lets not get carried away , he is just about performing at an acceptable level to maintain his position within our squad .

We bought cheap when Lucas as a kid & its a foolish policy for a club our size & it is a policy that has failed time & again since it was introduced under Houllier .

We should only ever buy the finished article & sell those in development to other clubs with perhaps buy back clause's inserted in the sales .

We never were a club that relied upon revenue from player sales & developing the likes of Lucas on the job has seen us fall to being a mid table side with mid table ambitions & attitudes .

Aurellio should never have out lasted Benetiz , Kuyt & Maxi although competent & clever players on their best days are on thin ice too as is Skrtel , Agger & Renia .

This foolish Player Worship is hurting the club & unless they are players like Gerrard who have won everything but the kitchen sink for us then they arent genuine legends & they deserve to be treated as run of the mill LFC players because that is all they are .

I agree with you that its beyond foolish to get on the new signings backs tho , in my book its plain treachery & anyone who does it should be banned from supporting the club & even sued for slander until such time they stop putting their own pathetic egos before the good of the club .

Henderson & all Kennys domestic signings have been very wise signings & all of them have strengthened our squad with immediate effect & I cant see us failing to progress from our dismal finishing position last season .
