If your going to bury Henderson under the marker " overpriced bad garbage signing " what exactly has Downing done not to be buried there as well. At least Henderson has had 1 good game. lol I like all our signings and think they have improved the club. Im not sure why Henderson is getting selected over other players just like alot of you arent sure. However Downing hasnt shown a dam thing to be selected every match either. YET, key word YET. I mean we never find out the real price but they both cost from reports somewhere between 16 and 20 mill. BlaDeBla Trialist B Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 46	Henderson hasnt put a foot wrong , his link play is excellent , he is playing his way unspectaculary into the side like a good honest pro should . Downing has been very good , he attacks both players & space very well & he never lets his head go down very similar to Arjen Robben that way , he just hasnt got Robbens stunning finishing but he is a constant threat from the first minute to the last he has always looks capable of delivering a moment of quality , which in itself frees up space for another player to attack. I cant believe the relegation mentality at our club , lining up to slaughter new signings when we havent won a thing since 06 & those players who have proven themselves failures are treated like heros . I think for the money we spent I would rather of had a go for Adam Johnson, Lennon at Spurs, Hazard or even Wright Phillips for about 5 million for would of represented better value for money.
