We sold Raul (who knows why) and loaned out Cole and Aquillani. There we have three top players and some strength in depth which is what we have been missing for ages. We now have no one to come on in the midfield areas to change a game. Letting all three go was a very bad move imo.

really lack creativity. It's so hard watching spurs tear us apart and you look at Parker (5mil) and Adebayor (not sure if he's on loan but still) vs Carroll 35, Hendo 15, Adam 10, Enrique 8. They were all made to look very silly (as were the rest).

why so negative? very poor game granted but ONE GAME!!

it had to take us to go down to 9 men before spurs could even get the second then the rest happened purely because we only had 9 men thats the way i look at it..

stay positive !

I know this was a one off and i'm not too down beat about it. But I firmly believe that letting all three of those players go has left us very short on depth. Any one of those players could have came on and gave us a lift. Look what Raul did against Arsenal. It would have had no bearing on this game but could on future matches.

KD has learned acouple of thing against spurs............ ie

he needs to buy ie

a right back, centre half with pace n power.... defence sorted.

natural right sided winger and a anchor man.

KD starting 11. needs more quality, players in Jan 2012.
KD messed up with his starting 11 and team selection.
certain players r not good enuff, to start or fit enuff.

I couldn't agree nore

It wasn't really working for Joe Cole so I can understand why Kenny moved him on - although personally I would have liked to have seen him given up until January

Aquilani was never given a proper chance by Rafa, Hodgson or Daglish - despite impressing in pre-season and settinmg up two and scoring one in the two league games he's played for AC Milan so far

Meireles on the other hand was a clear cut hit in a very disappointing season for us last term and letting him go for £12m whilst signing Henderson for £20m ranks alongside Rafa's idea of replacing Alonso with Gareth Barry

I think it was a hige blunder letting these trhree go and I said as much at the time - with almost everyone on this forum disagreeing with me I hasten to add!!!
