It's obvious we're going to have to put this behind us, but not without taking things away from it of course. A severe lack of discipline--we just didn't look like the Liverpool I know and love. Lets get on with our season lads we've got promise, potential, and the heart to do it. YNWA

Thought we were past the "keep the chin up" speech this season. We've been listening to it for the past 20 years. Getting old. Today was miserable.

What else are we to do? Sit on here and be negative? I apologize if that's what you want

We can still do it lads, today we were outclassed in every position. It almost felt like United vs Barcelona. I still fell we could challenge for fourth place though, however the challenge just got fired up.

I hope Kenny comes out with the truth today with some tact ofcourse,but we have to take this on the chin and move on! again!

Hate to say it but kenny's appoinment is looking like the wrong one. He has spent a fortune and are we any better for it? Our only good performance of the season so far was vs arsenal....but utd & blackburn have now shown that it was no real achievement in beating them. Plus....we haven't got the excuse of euro football to distract us. There's no doubt we're better off than we were with roy, but there isn't much in it at all - certainly not enough to start thinking about challenging for the league or even a place in the CL.

This isn't knee jerk stuff - i wasn't overly keen on kenny coming back in the first place. Towards the end of last season the alarm bells started to ring after the honeymoon period was over. And anyone who pays £35m for andy carroll is clearly losing the plot.

The boys started off terribly today and they paid for it. The only thing we can do is to put in a blinder midweek.
