cause there reason to question dalglish , and yes against arsenal and bolton he and team got the praise they deserved , but sorry yesterday all the excuses you like it wasnt good enough so you question the manager and try to work out why they couldnt score , not to put the blame on the ref or the grass like some , over 100 million spent on that team and they were all playing and it was huff and puff no plan b couldnt score , a typical away liverpool performance , like west ham , west brom , villa , braga and prague last season everyone can see there's has been massive improvement since kenny took over. you just have to look at the point tally from when he arrived til the end of the season. we were 2nd or 3rd best... is the room for improvement? of course! there's a lot of things that kenny, his staff and the players has to work on. but you can't expect miracles overnight. just take a look at the shape of the team when he took over and compare it to where we are today. lets give him, the owners and this whole new liverpool project more then four games before saying we will fail.. its not me who has been saying liverpool wil win the league will finish 3rd ETC ETC , yes i have said it for months it will need loads of hard work and loads of good luck to even get 4th and that pushing it i think 5th is a likely position and hopefully win a cup the league cup maybe i think that would be an unbelievable season for liverpool , then build on that maybe 3rd or 4th after that in seasons to come , reality is the key word not this dalglish fantasy land some live in think it was going to be 1987/88 again dream on !!!!!!

I think when you look at United and City you can see how big the gap is, I think realisticaly our best hope each season is fourth and a Cup win in the domestics competitions, if we can improve on what we are seeing I think we have a chance.

what he said was silly, but he is far from losing the plot. i just hope when he reviews the game he sees the mistakes he made and doesn't just start to feel sorry for himself with the ref decisions we have had so far this season. we had 90 mins to beat stoke so we cant blame the defeat on one split second decision from the ref.

I don't think Kenny is losing the plot and he has done a good job so far. However I have never adhered to the mindless Kenny worshipping that has gone over past year. As those of us who witnessed his first reign he is a good manager but he does have flaws and sometimes they are fundamental ones. We must wait and see how he does but if you think he is a miracle worker then I advise you to think again. His comments yesterday were silly and it was probably due to pressure of the job and they speak to managers when hey are hyped up just after the game. Hepefully nothing to be concerned over.

maybe some of you lot should be , because the same old excuses come out that have been around for years " its a bad day at the office" "its the pitch it had too much grass on it" "its the refs fault" instead of it the teams fault for not being good enough yet and not scoring goals . Do you expect us to win every single game?

Faz you are a miserable git and in no way do you ever offer support for Dalglish. Kenny has a point, we say nothing and continue to get bad decisions againts us, have been for some time. Fergie when they lose blames everyone and immediately puts pressure on the officials for the next game. How many soft decisions do Manu get, lots? how many harsh decisions do they get, not many, if any? My god their fans last season were asking for a replay when a soft goal went against them- yet you blame our manager for bad decisions.
it's all about mind games, if Kenny can put doubt in the officials minds, then great - it is not a level playing field and fair but thats life -lets make sure we get our fair share of dodgy decisons for a change.

Did'nt we get the decision recently against Arsenal for one of the goals, could easily of been deemed offside, have'nt heard anyone bringing that dodgy decision up tho.

for me kenny lost it when he signed adam henderson downing and carrol.expectations from him plummeted from then. blaming refs is no good.all evens out. dangerous for him to get sarcastic with the media too.all well and good if your on the top of the pile like fergie is.otherwise them hacks will be back to crucify him when they can.

Are we starting to see the first strains of Dalglish losing the plot like last time. I ask this because his rant is in all the papers this morning which I have found quite embarrassing, he is alluding to all refs having some sort of hidden agenda towards us which I think is comical. My own thoughts about refs is that you will get some bad decisions against us and some will go for us, they usualy even themselves up at the end of the season I dont think it serves any purpose trying to get refs backs up with statements like this which puts refs under more pressure. Just one more thing I think Dalglish asking for some sort of permission to complain about refs from the owners is a bit weak on his part, he needs to grow a backbone and either persue it if he feels that strongly or keep quiet, can just see Fergie now asking permission off the Glazers to have a go someone, complete joke. Where was you after the Arsenal and Bolton games?Different username same dross.

What I really dont understand about people on here is they are all happy for Dalglish to get praised when we win like against Arsenal and Bolton yet when we are poor and get beat like yesterday they dont want Dalglish to get stick, it just does'nt add up. Kenny Dalglish has spent well over 100 million pounds since January and we still cant beat Stoke City even though they have improved am sorry but thats just not good enough, the same away problems are there for all to see like they were there under Roy Hodgson, we struggle to win away and am afraid Dalglish deserves every bit of stick he gets because he carries the can for the money he has spent.
