carragher made 2 mistakes, but i know he is a fighter and he will prove all the doubters about his ability wrong he is still the heart of the defence, the vocla point, the leader at the back, he will throw his body at everything, he will give 110 percent every game.


liverpool played well not good enough as we have done this season, but we wern't dredful i think we just needed a bit of luck which on this occasion we didn't get.

I'm okay with his defending. every defender makes mistakes. Today's mistake is a borderline one and we have all have seen them given for less. but you have to admit that his ball distribution is appalling at best. He is the major culprit of the hoof footie we are trying to eradicate.

either Lucas and Adam is not getting into position to receive a simple ball from Carragher or Carragher insists on getting the ball and hoofing it.

whilst I agree with your observations it is clear that at Liverpool the bar has been raised, no longer can we accept poor player decisions like saturday. This can only be good. Carra has been here before and will be interesting to see how he responds, in the past it has been positively and his game has returned. That said he is older now and the new blood is gathering, thisn can only be good.
Reminds me of when Thommo was replaced by Lawrenson, it happened slowly and whilst Thommo still produced great performances his consistency had diminished.
