if carroll hasn't scored 12 goals in the first 15 seconds of the stoke game i think we should look at selling him cos it's been an enormous disaster. we spend 35m on him and now he's only worth 50p. we should have bought messi cos my aunt's friend's daughters boyfriend overheard in a pub that the liverpool under 12s assistant physio saying that messi wanted to come to us.
i mean i'm not get on carroll's back or anything, he has my full supp....yadda yadda...yawn.

Why are we all so judgemental on Carroll? He still needs time to improve, we know he has quality and he is still a very young player. I have a vision that he will be our best player in the next 3-4 years, could be wrong but Kenny brought him here for the longterm. All you have to do is look at the likes of Nani, Dzeko and Tevez (back at West Ham). Many people critized these signings when they first came and were playing bad and look at them now, top players. To be honest I'm sick of reading about Caroll, we know what he's all about so just let him get on with it. In Kenny we trust! But Nani, Dzako and Tevez were new to the Premier League - Carroll isn't People on here are talking as if Carroll's already flopped despite the fact he's barely been here for six months I agree that criticism of Carroll has been extreme - but in fairness so was the decision to depart with £35m for his services

Are people to dumb to realise that we were shafted by newcastle on the last day of the transfer window,who else was available?
Kenny wanted to sign him this summer for a more realistic fee,not last January,but because Torres wanted out newcastle had Liverpool over a barrel,simple.

If people want to go on and on about 35million maybe we should think about how much money has been 'wasted' by not having a proper stadium plann. My point is that there is waste in all 'businesses' and that Carrol is too easy a target to have a pop at. Transfer fees don't come into it if hte team gets in the top 4

Get over it. I have never understood that logic. If Torres wanted out fine! bank the money and buy a decent player in the summer. Carroll was unfit till March anyway and the season was almost over. I really cannot fathom this one.

I believe Kenny wanted someone who had premier league expierence incase it took Suarez a bit longer to settle.
