I definitely wouldn't play Skrtel at right back though.
Me neither but he did well when brought on against Bolton - he looked a lot more comfortable than Agger the few times he was asked to play full back - which given his frame you wouldn't expect Johnson doesn't have many fans on here - presumably because he's from the South - but I prefer him to Kelly and Flannagan - and as Kenny doesn't seem to have any inclination to use him in the position that I think he's best suited - right wing - I'd definitely have him back in the team at right back as soon as he's match fit Our away record against Stoke is feeble Yeah, i'd put Johnson straight back in myself, if fit. I'd be happy for him, Kelly or Flanagan to be played there, though. Skrtel done well there against Bolton when Kelly went off injured, but I wouldn't like to see him started there at all. i agree johnson in if fit kelly is a good lad but johnson is better .

-------------------------reina------------------------
---johnson------carragher--------agger---------enrique-
---henderson--------adam---------lucas---------downing-
----------------------suarez---------------------------
------------------------------carroll------------------
also for this game we will need to have a lot of vocalness in us henderson/carragher/reina/ plenty of pace down the wing that is why i chose johnson at RB because on the left stoke are either gonna play ethrington or walters both fast walters cuts inside and ethrington gets right to the line and puts in the cross, on the left aswell although i think enrique is going to destroy pennant, going forward we need carroll a lot of height in him and great strengh leaving suarez upfront on his own in this game will be a risk as the stoke nobody leaves stoke without a few brooses there a strong and physical defence that will give a lot of free kicks away that is why adam set pice is isentil, the reason why i don't think we should play skrtel is because he gives away silly free kicks in dangerouse positions we can't do this against stoke otherwise we will suffer.

Well, Charlie Adam's been passed fit to play against Stoke. Great news for the team. indeed it is! im not sure what formation i want to see on saturday and if carroll should be starting or not...there's plenty of options now which is a good thing. Against a team like Stoke, I think Carroll could be crucial. The dilemma for me would be whether to start him, or whether to have him available to bring on if things aren't going our way. If we're in need of a goal late on away to Stoke, things are always liable to get a bit messy/ugly, so Carroll's aerial ability and height would be very valuable. that's the way i feel too. not sure if it's best to start with him and give bellamy the last half hour to terrorize their defense or if it should be the other way around. well kenny knows best so we'll have to wait and see!

If we're in need of a goal late on away to Stoke, things are always liable to get a bit messy/ugly, so Carroll's aerial ability and height would be very valuable. carroll has to start for 2 reasons; 1. we need him in both boxes for set-pieces, 2. we need to occupy the stoke CBs, leaving more room for suarez, and if one of their CMs drops in to try and man mark him it makes adam' and lucas' job easier. if we play suarez and kuyt or suarez up on his own with henderson off of him stoke will just drop off and defend their box, if we have carroll on they can't do that. reina kelly carra agger enrique kuyt lucas adam downing suarez carroll when we're 1-0 (saurez) up and they come on strong towards the end bring bellamy on for carroll, give us someone to knock it over the top to. turn defence into attack with 1 pass, and with adam, agger and pepe we have 3 players who will be able to hit that pass with ease.

i'd have carrol on as a starter hopefully to 'rough up' the central defence then bellamy/ kuyt at least 35 minutes, the carrol option is not a bad one to have whether hes playing on form or not - i am sure central defenders do not like adjusting their game halfway through it
