There is no one who has had a poor start and here's 1 for ya I took us nine games last year to get to were we are ni and I don't mean league position I mean seven points so god knows how you spoke then with your mates you'd prob didn't go and watch till we got better

well for starters caroll may as well not be here anyway as hes been anonymous whether through injury or poor form.so thats 35m saved then as buying an anonymous striker to replace a striker that became anonymous makes no sense.hmmm we had aqua and mierless both infinietly better than henderson and adam.replaced class with sihte.

what makes aqua class in your view that 3 previous Liverpool managers and an incoming juventus manager couldn't see? he never did it in a liverpool shirt so you can't even claim he's class for liverpool. meireiles was one of the better players last year but is not class and i think selling him for 12 and buying adam for 8 (or whatever it was) makes perfect sense.
i don't know why you don't think adam is good enough, you mostly seem to be basing this on his time at rangers where he didn't play well but most bizarrely you also say he was useless at blackpool for the 2nd half of the season, which he wasn't. he mightn't have been as impressive as the first part but he was immense then and was rightly nominated for player of the year.

Kenny obviously is hoping that Carrolls form picks up and until he reaches full fitness i'll hold my judgment on him for now and will only judge him as a player at full fitness or as a player incapable/unwilling to maintain the necessary standards of a professional.

If you think aqua is class then that says it all really because he [oops] and can't play in a midfield four raul is good player not a great player he also can't play in a 442 he needs a free role he's not getting any younger so I can't see him learning that ni he will suit chelski because of there 433 but then again who does he start ahead of there

Raul is a good squad player we seen that at arsenal when he came off the bench but really he had 1 real good month last year were he scored for fun but no one can forget the tackle he jumped out of in the derby

If Henderson is really that bad then are academy most be bad because we all talk about coady like he class Henderson is a year are 2older and has played over 70 premier league games captains the under 21s coady can't even get in that squad but he's a scouser so that makes him better than what he really is

One more ? What was your opinion on lucas 2r 3 years ago and be honest

if he wants to follow steven Gerrard footsteps, he needs more bite and crunch in him, put he is still young and if he gets that in him he will be a great replacement for him, he has only been here a couple of months and i already think he has got liverpool tattooded on him, techniquely great always wants to be involved in everything and always gets forward at every oppertunity and is always a pain for opposition on the wing aswell.

yeh lets all just wait around waiting for 4 of kennys signings to become good..why not they only cost 85m between them,not as if they should be proven class at those prices is it..apart from the fact what lfc needed was proven class not mediocrity.

There still doesn't seem to be any evidence to support your argument on Adam, Henderson, Downing and Carrol! Given that Carrol hasn't done a lot per say but the other three have been pretty good and helped LFC to their best start in a season in nearly 50 years I think it is!!

i remember one season where we started with 9 wins and 3 draws. We then had a season to forget as the team went about 12-13 games without a win. i believe it was under Houllier if i am not wrong.
