I know what you mean ceb, they tend to be very repetitive and boring, had enough of them all off season but anyway.

I don't know any players on my mind right now but I would really like to sign somebody who has a similar style to Suarez. I want this new signing to be a live wire and be involved in everything. Would be great having these type of players that can change a game instantly with a very limited time. There will be talents merging surely by January so no point naming players right now.

its not so much a transfer thread as trying to identify top quality players that are available, that was the intention anyway lol,

what players are out there that are good enough to take us to the next level and available and willing to come.

i don't see the prbolem with having a transfer thread anyway. If you're not interested in discussing or reading it, no one is holding a gun to your head.

i dont see us not competing in europe being an issue in january. if we find the right player willing to leave his club i think we are just as likely to land the likes of eden hazard as arsenal are (except for the amount of french speaking players at the club). at the end of the day lille could be knocked out of the chapions league by that time and so could arsenal. it doesn't matter who signs him he will not be able to feature for any new club because he will be cup tied. if we can widen a gap between us and arsenal and still compete with the front runners we have every chance of landing a player such as him.

i think another winger should be priority but gary cahill could be worth a punt with 6 months remaining on his contract. a sound future replacement for jamie carragher imo which would probably phase skrtel out of the squad.
