x red, now living in singapore, tabloids r saying he is in charge of spreading the LFC brand, into India, China etc etc.

this is the same guy who wanted to buy NUFC, with his investers from Singapore.

His company or the one he worked for, went tits up. loads of debt left behind.

His fault or not his fault, a bit of a grey area here.

If McMahon is given a job within LFC, to take the clubs brand into other countries, and certain people do a backround check on him, and the above comes up, it can lead to alot of problems for spreading the LFC brand, in a certain country or countries.

I think players like barnes, rush, tommy smith, fowler, etc etc shud be given this job, by the club.
they are all footballing Legends of LFC history.

Leave it to FSG. Forget about former legends.

i wud take a couple of players from the 70, 80, 90 and sg, carra and spread the clubs name around the whole world,

so people from all ages can relate to them, old n young

u wud u like to meet ie mcmahon or barnes, given the choice.

I wouldn't worry about this, FSG will have a marketing dept to handle this.

He might be the figure head even if he didnt have luck from before- its not exactly high risk since you dont see the teturns for years from training schools - and for floggin shirts etc cant be worse than anyone else to spread the brand about

LFC's visit in 2-3 years could do wonder. He is the only analyst in ESPNSTAR who supports Liverpool. If i am not wrong he might be the only Ex-Liverpool player who is familiar to lot of Peoples who started watching football in last few years. At least for the one's who aren't from cities...

It wouldn't be a problem as long as he doesn't arrange group of Indian investors to buy Clubs.

Well said.mcmahon had it all...brilliant player for lfc ..absolutely brilliant.along with souness he was one of the best.not replaced him since.nearest was hamman.gerrard is unable to dictate a game like mcmahon did.
he went over there a few years ago and has done well over there.good to see him involved with lfc again.
btw his brother was..maybe still is..involved at lfc.
he was one of dalglishs signings last time and became a liverpool great.
