bloody crazy..last game we played bolton off the park ,henderson scored and was getting involved.. can we just take it from there. god only knows the abuse he will get after a defeat and a poor performance. You know there always has to be someone on here who takes all the crap regardless of how the rest of the team plays, perhaps he is taking the place of Lucas and Kuyt...

Agree with emp up above.
He had a quiet start in his first few games, but did you not see the Bolton game!?! He played really well, got involved a lot, scored a well-taken goal and put a few top-notch crosses into the box that should in all right have ended up being goal assists.
Leave the lad alone, ffs.

gerrard is not agressive. he is simply productive and makes little mistakes. someone like wayne rooney is aggressive but not gerrard. Hendersen does't need to be aggressive to up his game. I think he had a brilliant game last time out so why not leave it at that for now? I believe he will become a great player in the future if he keeps learning from the master. Gerrard does play with aggression and determenation, always has done. Henderson will never be a Gerrard, thats too much to ask, not only that Gerrard has been that extra bit special because he's a scouser and plays for Liverpool, his home club, just like Carra. Henderson is starting to show some promise tho and i beleieve he will become an integral part of our future squad.

Criticizing a player does not mean he's a flop. we're here to discuss the club, the squad, and the performances. If I was in the stadium I would support each and every player on and off the pitch.
Henderson has many great attributes, and player at his age are never the "end product". We hope he can improve and play a great part this season, even if he wasn't an automatic starter.

I'll be the first to put my hand up and proclaim that whilst far from brilliant Henderson has exceeded my expectations - although I will add the proviso that they weren't high
I still think it's an absolute nonsense swapping him for Meireles and paying £8m for the priviledge, but Henderson is young, quick and obviously has talent
It does look as if he's trying a little bit too hard in a Liverpool shirt - and whilst he shined against Bolton (and was okay against Exeter) he's actually looked better in his last two outings for the Under 21s - almost a different player from that struggling in the tournament over summer

gerrard is not agressive. I'd question that Gerrard is exteremely aggressive He's not dirty - like he used to be in his younger days from time to time - but he's aggressive You have to be if you want to cut it in the Premiership

thats it just choose between henderson and mierles - long term i'd chose henderson - there is more to come
