They could of done a torres with modric. Sell the damn player for 40m, he aint even worth 15m and rebuild your team damnit. They messed up big time, which is good for us.

I just hope Arsenal signings flop, the last thing we need is Arsenal picking themselves up and chasing us once again. We need them to fail miserably in order for us to secure that 4th spot.

Levy is trying to be a clever businessman and getting involved with matters he shouldnt be,harry done well upto a point but the Modric thing has totally screwed them, and January is usually a quiet window so not sure how spurs will fair this year?Early days i know but they dont look like challenging top 4 this year, with their lack of investment.

I think 'Arry is too much the wheeler and dealer to be decisive in the transfer market. Chelea offered the 40m, but there would not have been time for 'Arry to do much other than go with his gut and pay the piper.

The gunners are stronger, obviously, but it's hard to say by how much. Their threat will come more from Wilshire, Vermaelen, Szczney, and Van Persie though I suspect. They're under a lot of pressure though, and a little bird told me RVP has intimated that he would leave if Fabregas and Nasri were both sold. Not a particularly reliable bird, mind you, but have words we did.

I remember last season the gunners biggest problem that needed addressing in this window was a good keeper?not only has that not been dealt with but they have also lost 3 of their best players,i think the league is so strong now from top to bottom not even wenger can keep them up there anymore now.Again early days though.

arsenal have CL which will take quite a bit out of them as the season goes on, and we have a better squad than them as is. tbf to spurs they have played man citeh and utd in their first 2 games so lets not condemn them to mid-table mediocrity just yet. i do except us to finish in 4th not easily but comfortably by about 9/10 points, and tbh the top 3 all have potentially big holes in their team, utd's inexperience, chelsea's players seem to have no connection and although im a fan of his villas-boas is very inexperienced and we don't know how he would deal with a crisis on the pitch or the pressure of working for abramovich. and citeh only have an okay manager imo, and they will get distracted by the CL and although certain corners of the media sensationalise the problems in their dressing room, they dont have any real team spirit or any leaders. so maybe just maybe we could seek into the top 3.
